Lost In Heaven

Now, first off, please don't consider me the overly religious type... I assure you I am not (I have some serious doubts about religion actually, but that's just my opinion ). I merely considered that this would be an interesting interpretation of this piece.

OK, to start. This is a rather surreal piece. Whatever your interpretation of it is, it's fine by me. This is just what I have in mind.

So this is what heaven looks like (speculatively)... lush foliage, beautiful towering waterfalls and majestic clouds. The image of what could be called a utopia or sorts. Earth has some places like this as well.
The hot air balloons represent the souls that are "lost" in heaven, meandering about for eternity with no purpose. The lie suspended in time forever.
The eye represents God, who casts his eye over heaven and Earth, always watching. The clock within the eye symbolizes both the time that passes, the time that we have left, and the eternity that we will spend in heaven.

Woah, deep stuff.
